Mid Island Air Service Flight School Honors Andrew | July 2019

“We’re very touched that Mid Island Air Service Flight School at MacArthur Airport in Islip honored Andrew by dedicating their flight simulator room to him. Andrew used this simulator many times last summer while he was participating in their Aerocamp and he learned so much about piloting from using it.

Additionally, while at Aerocamp Graduation today, we were presented with a certificate of appreciation from the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) Safety Team awarded to Andrew. They recognized Andrew for his achievements while at Aerocamp last summer and applauded him for his “dedication, passion and interest in promoting two of the core values of the FAA: Safety and Excellence.”

Thank you to Gail Mancuso and everyone involved with Aerocamp at Mid Island Air Service as well as everyone at the FAA for honoring Andrew in this way. Our hearts were warmed by this recognition of Andrew and we know Andrew is literally flying high by all of this. God bless you guys, we deeply appreciate it. ”
