Andrew McMorris Foundation Announces "Andrew's Top Gun Run" on March 26, 2022

On Saturday, March 26th the Suffolk County Council of Boy Scouts USA and the Andrew McMorris Foundation will host Andrew’s Top Run to raise the funds for Scholarships and Scouterships.

In September of 2018, Boy Scout Troop 161 was hiking the Greenbelt Trail when a drunk driver tragically hit them. Several scouts were severely injured; as a result of his injuries, Andrew McMorris passed away. The lives of his family, friends, community and fellow scouters were forever changed by his loss.

The 5K will be a celebration of Andrew, his 16th birthday, love of aviation and scouting as our participants will have the unique opportunity to run on the runway in Andrew’s Top Run. We hope that you will consider supporting Andrew’s Top Run 5K
